Development Teams
Development teams will be required to have a lead development entity: real estate developer or builder, and an architect licensed to practice in California, though teams may include any number of additional consultants as desired by the lead entity. Through the RFQ process the development and architectural entities that form each team will be evaluated separately – each needs to score highly enough that the combined team is deemed qualified. Development teams that include a Design Competition winner from the first stage of the Small Lots, Big Impacts initiative will receive additional points and increase their chances of being awarded city land.
